Emmanuel, The Holy Ghost of Christianity

The Holy Ghost is mentioned several times in the New Testament bible, and some have associated the Holy Ghost to be the dead spirit of Jesus, others say the Holy Ghosts are the angels, and others say the it is a Holy Spirit. Who and what is the Holy Ghost that plays such an important role in Christianity?

The Holy Ghost was not known until the era of Jesus, for this word is not mentioned in the old testament bible. Whereas John the Baptist was said to be have baptized with water, it was said Jesus baptizes with the Holy Ghost, and after which such a person also acquires the power of the Holy Ghost to perform miracles. But why is this process not taking place today, and why is it that not even the highest ranking officers of the Catholic Church possess such a power?
Let us review the Old Testament to find out who this Holy Ghost is; for in the book of Isaiah chapter 7:14 it reads: Therefore the Lord himself shall give you a sign, Behold, a virgin shall conceive, and bear a son, and shall call his name EMMANUEL.

Now in the four gospels of Mathew, Mark, Luke and John it was said that the angel Gabriel appeared unto a virgin woman called Mary who conceived a son, and his name was to be called Jesus. So a male child was born of Mary whose name was known as Jesus. Now the question will be asked by the masses, if Isaiah the prophet said the name of the child would be called Emmanuel and a child was born that was called Jesus; is Jesus, Emmanuel ? If we accept the prophesy of Isaiah, may we say that the names are different so there is no connection between Jesus and Emmanuel?

The Jews of old that knew the prophesy of Isaiah will most certainly reject the boy named Jesus for his name was not Emmanuel; for they cannot validate the authenticity of the person, even if the person is born of virgin birth. The Jews were familiar with many prophets that performed many miracles such as Elijah, Moses, Elisha and many others so why would Jesus be any different from the rest especially when his name is not Emmanuel. There was no basis from their point of view regardless of what miracles the person performed for the Jewish elders to accept him. They knew of Jesus as the son of a carpenter, who all of sudden at the age of thirty says he the son of God. This was a bit hard for the Jewish elders to swallow.

So if Jesus was not Emmanuel, who truly is Emmanuel, and how could Isaiah have known about him? Let us go back to the book of Daniel Chapter 3, verse 20-25. 20. King Nebuchadnezzar commanded the most mighty men that were in his army to bind Shaddrach, Meshach, and Abednigo and to cast them into the burning fiery furnace. 21. Then these men were bound in their coats, their hoses, and their hats, and their other garments, were cast unto the midst of the burning fiery furnace. 22 Therefore because the king’s commandment was urgent, and the furnace exceeding hot, the flame of the fire slew those men that took Shaddrach, Messhack, and Abednigo. 23. And these three men, Shaddrach, Messhach, and Abednigo fell down bound into the midst of the burning fiery furnace. 24 Then Nebuchadnezzar the king was astonished, and rose up in haste, and spoke, and said unto this counselors, Did not we cast three men bound into the midst of the fire? They answered and unto the king, True, O King 25. He answered and said, lo, I see four men loose, walking in the midst of the fire, and they have no hurt; and the form of the fourth is like the son of God.

It is from this text from the book of Daniel that the words of son of God was linked to the name Emmanuel mentioned in Isaiah. Let us keep in mind that the being in the burning furnace was an angel referred to as the son of God. Now going forward, how do we connect the text from Daniel, the prophesy of Isaiah to Jesus? Isaiah prophesied that the son of God would be born of a virgin, so if it is established that Mary as a virgin gave birth to a boy it was associated with the prophesy of Isaiah, even though the names do not much.

But clarity can be shed on this, for it is obvious that the name Emmanuel is the name of an angel, not the name of a man. For most angels have the letters EL affixed to their names, such as Michael, Raphael, Gabriel and others, which defines the word God in their name. So Emmanuel meant God with us, from the letters EL affixed to the name. So the direct connection on the spiritual level is; Emmanuel is the son of God, which perfectly makes sense, for the angels are said to be sons of God.

So if Jesus as a prophet was indeed the man through whom the Holy Spirit works, then it can be concluded that the Holy Ghost, who is the power that performs the miracles of healing, raises people from the dead, causes the blind to see, and resurrected Jesus from the dead was the angel Emmanuel. The Holy Ghost of the apostles, of Paul, and the Holy Ghost of Christianity is the angel Emmanuel, the Christ, the son of God. Elsewhere on the topic Christ decoded it was pointed out mathematically that YAHOVAH = 77 = EMMANUEL =77= CHRIST = 77. Christians behold, the of God, the Holy Ghost is the angel Emmanuel who is called in the name of YHVH.

Whether Jesus was the Messiah or not, whether he was born of the virgin or not; if the miracles associated with him are true them somewhere along the line before he was thirty years old he was successfully able to call the angel Emmanuel into manifestation that took possession of him. But for something like that to occur, the virgin birth also has to be true for a holy angel cannot take possession of a human being for a long period of time unless the person is clean from an early age. At the very best an angel can only connect itself to a human being for a few seconds, most human beings are not clean enough to contain the spirit of an angel. Jesus supposedly, was able to contain the presence of the Holy Ghost for long periods of time, indicating that he must have been clean from birth. The man possessed by an angel is a demi-god, half man and half spirit through whom wonders and miracles are performed.
